To provide interim assistance with basic needs for those who do not have the resources to meet these needs and encourage community involvement in addressing issues to help break the circle of poverty.

Food Pantry

Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Fuel and Electric Assistance

Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Additional helpful information

As of July 1st, we’ve begun accepting fuel applications for priority households with: 

  • people over 60
  • a documented disability
  • children under 6
  • wood as the primary heat source and last year's emergencies.

Important Deadline Dates

September 1st 

We start accepting applications for oil, kerosene, and propane households.

October 1st

All other households can start applying (i.e., electric heat, natural gas, and heat included in the rent*). *Subsidized renters with heat included are ineligible.

December 1st

If someone has an electric or natural gas disconnect, they can apply now. Beginning December 1st, we start getting funding, and benefit awards can go out.
