On October 5, 2016, at 3:00 pm the Bow Police responded to 330 River Road for a report of domestic disturbance. Prior to Officers arriving, 54-year-old, Peter Emanuel, of Bow, used a front-end loader to tip over another piece of construction equipment occupied by the victim. Arriving Officers found Peter Emanuel driving a front-end loader around the property. Peter ignored Officers requests to turn the machine off, at one point; he backed the machine towards the Officers and a police cruiser. The Officers were able to back away and avoid the machine. Peter then drove the machine to the far side of the property where he abandoned it and fled on foot. Patrol Officers located him about 5:00 pm on Fieldstone Drive. He was taken into custody without incident. There were no injuries to the victim.
Peter is charged with two felony counts of attempted first-degree assault, one felony count attempted first-degree assault: domestic-violence, one felony count of criminal mischief, two counts of resisting detention. He was transported to the Merrimack County House of Corrections and is being held on $100,000.00 dollars cash bail. He set to be arraigned at 11:00 am on October 6th in the 6th Circuit Court- Concord- District Division.
