Police Department

Administrative Office Hours

Most calls made to the administrative line, communications sent, and visits made to the department during the administrative office hours will be received by a person. 08:30-4:30 pm

Dispatching & Officer Availability

The Bow Police Department is dispatched by the Merrimack County Sheriff’s Office. Officers are available 24 hours a day at 603-228-0511.

Visitors After Administrative Office Hours

If a visitor comes to the Police Department outside of the administrative hours and the visitor is not greeted, there is a direct dial phone in the foyer of the Police Department that will connect to a dispatcher when the receiver is picked up.  The dispatcher will provide direct assistance or call the on duty officer to return to the Department.

Prescription Drug Disposal

The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bow Police Department wish to help prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to Bow Safety Center at 7 Knox Rd. (Sites cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches.) The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. Deposit your containers in the grey metal container in the vestibule.
