SPECIAL ELECTIONS IN 2021:
The Governor and Executive Council, at their meeting held on February 17, 2021, approved the Precept to hold a SPECIAL ELECTION for State Representative from Merrimack County District No. 23 (Bow, Dunbarton)
Primary – Tuesday, April 20, 2021
Election – Tuesday, June 8, 2021
*Filing Period: February 22-26, 2021. Candidates may file with their Town Clerk on Monday, February 22nd OR Tuesday, February 23rd during normal business hours, OR they may file with the Secretary of State's Office
*Filing with the town clerk: During normal business hours – 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
*Filing with Secretary of State: Please arrive at the State House at the Park Street entrance and call 271-3242. A representative from the office will come down to collect your paperwork and fee.
The following paperwork must be submitted as your filing for this special election: Declaration of Candidacy | Statement of Financial Interests | Fee of $2.00
